NOVELTY - Flame retardant functional rubber comprises 50-80 pts. wt. natural rubber, 20-50 pts. wt. graphene rubber functional material, 1-4 pts. wt. stearic acid, 3-5 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 1-4 pts. wt. accelerator CZ, 1-3 pts. wt. antioxidant 4010, 10-30 pts. wt. carbon black, 1-3 pts. wt. sulfur and 2-10 pts. wt. paraffin wax. USE - Used as flame retardant functional rubber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing flame retardant functional rubber comprising (i) preparing benzoic acid functionalized graphene by adding 1-2 g p-aminobenzoic acid and 0.2-0.4 g sodium hydroxide to the reaction vessel, and adding 50-100 ml distilled water, then slowly adding 0.5-1 g sodium nitrite at 0-5 degrees C and 5-10 ml 20 % hydrochloric acid and stirring for 45-60 minutes; adding 0.2-0.5 g graphene after ultrasonic to the solution and stirring at 0-5 degrees C for 3-4 hours; finally, adjusting the pH value of the solution to 2-3 and dialyzing with dialysis membrane for 2-3 times, and finally washing the product with organic solvents to neutral; (ii) preparing epoxidized natural rubber, adding 10-50 g 60 % natural latex dissolving in 100-200 ml distilled water, then adding 20-40 ml peracetic acid for 10-20 hours at 0-5 degrees C and drying, rinsing and drying; (iii) preparing graphene rubber functional materials, taking 10-50 g prepared epoxidized natural rubber and cutting and dissolving them into 100-200 ml xylene, then, adding 1-10 ml N'N- dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) at 80-120 degrees C, and 1-5 g 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) and stirring for 5-20 minutes, then adding 0.5-5 g benzoic acid functionalized graphene and stirring for 2-8 hours, and finally drying; and (iv) finally, placing the above materials in the open-smelting machine smelting for 10-20 minutes, after 24 hours, flat vulcanizing to obtain the product.
