NOVELTY - Manufacture of polymer composition involves (s1) introducing a polymer portion (p1) and a carbonaceous filler portion (c1) into a first feed section of an extruder, (s2) introducing a polymer portion (p2) and optionally a carbonaceous filler portion (c2) into a second feed section located downstream of the first feed section of the extruder, and extruding the resulting polymer composition. The composition comprises 0.01-3 wt.% carbonaceous filler relative to the total weight of the polymer composition. USE - Polymer composition used for forming molded article (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to sheets, non-oriented films, oriented films, round bars, extruded products, integrated circuit tray, chassis, components for office automation machines such as computers and peripheral equipment, cowl, fender, door panel, front panel, rear panel, locker panel, rear bumper panel, back door garnish, emblem garnish, etc. ADVANTAGE - The polymer composition has improved surface characteristics in terms of reduced surface defects.
