NOVELTY - Addition of graphene to magnesium and magnesium-based alloy casting mold comprises adding carbon powder with nanographene containing dispersant, and drying in vacuum furnace to prepare black gray powdery graphene product; adding black gray powdery graphene product into mold lubricant or mold coating, and stirring uniformly; and preheating magnesium and magnesium alloy casting mold to 100-200 degrees C, and coating uniformly mold grease containing graphene on mold cavity. USE - Method for adding graphene to magnesium and magnesium-based alloy casting mold. ADVANTAGE - The mold has strong wear resistance and surface smoothness.
