NOVELTY - The nanoporous graphene nanowire material is obtained from the composite. The composite is formed by dissolving magnesium compound into water to form solution having concentration of magnesium ions ranging from 0.005-10.0 mol per Liter and then treating the solution to obtain catalysts. The catalysts are calcined at temperature ranging 100-800 degrees Celsius to form porous catalyst nanowires. A carbon source is introduced to reactor containing porous catalyst nanowires at temperature ranging from 400-1500 degrees Celsius to grow graphene on porous catalyst nanowires and form the composite. USE - Material of nanoporous graphene nanowires for article (claimed) e.g. electrode for battery. ADVANTAGE - Eases industrial production of nanoporous graphene nanowires that can be produced by simple operation and can be operated easily. The material e.g. three dimensional (3D) nanocarbon material is provided with improved properties to prepare homogeneous porous nanocarbon fibers.
