NOVELTY - The system (100) has a vessel (106) which is placed in the water body. The conveyor belt is configured with a net operatively coupled to the vessel. The conveyor belt with the net is adapted to collect rubbish from the water body such that the collected rubbish comprising wet rubbish and dry rubbish. The two containers comprise the first container and the second container. The first container and the second container adapted to store the separated dry rubbish and the wet rubbish respectively. A rubbish compressing unit (114) is operatively coupled to the rubbish separating unit (110) and to the rubbish storing unit (112), and configured to compress the separated dry rubbish to increase space for storage in the first container. A water filtering unit (116) is operatively coupled to the rubbish storing unit, the water filtering unit configured to extract water from the separated wet rubbish and purify the extracted water by removing solid wastes and impurities from the extracted water. The dry rubbish and the wet rubbish are separated from the collected rubbish, by using the sieve of a rubbish separating unit. The separated dry rubbish and the wet rubbish are respectively stored, by using the first container and the second container of a rubbish storing unit. The separated dry rubbish is compressed, by using a rubbish compressing unit, to increase space for storage in the first container. The water from the separated wet rubbish is extracted, by using a water filtering unit. The extracted water by removing solid wastes and impurities from the extracted water is purified, by using the water filtering unit.
