NOVELTY - Varnish comprises 40-50 pts. wt. acrylic acid modified alkyd resin, 5-10 pts. wt. xylene formaldehyde resin, 3-6 pts. wt. graphene oxide/boron nitride composite modified zinc-aluminum hydrotalcite material, 1-3 pts. wt. cellulose acetate, 5-10 pts. wt. rust-proof oil, 40-50 pts. wt. solvent, 3-5 pts. wt. other auxiliary agent and 0.8-2 pts. wt. drier. USE - The varnish is useful for corrosion protection of petroleum pipeline. ADVANTAGE - The varnish: is environmentally-friendly and non-toxic. The method: is simple, and excellent anti-corrosion performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the varnish, comprising (i) preparing mixed metal salt solution of zinc nitrate and aluminum nitrate, slowly dropping sodium hydroxide solution into mixed metal salt solution, stirring while dropping, continuously stirring for 20-30 minutes after finishing dripping, then transferring to the reaction kettle, preserving temperature and reacting for 2.5-3.5 hours at 100degrees Celsius, after finishing reaction, cooling to room temperature, filtering, drying the solid to obtain zinc-aluminum hydrotalcite, and then dispersing in absolute ethanol, adding hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain zinc-aluminum hydrotalcite dispersion; (ii) adding graphene oxide and boron nitride nano sheet into the prepared zinc- aluminum hydrotalcite dispersion liquid, carrying out staged ultrasonic treatment, then filtering, drying the solid to obtain graphene oxide/boron nitride composite modified zinc-aluminum hydrotalcite material; and (iii) adding acrylic acid modified alkyd resin into stirrer, xylene formaldehyde resin, 1/2 pts. wt. solvent, stirring, adding cellulose acetate, graphene oxide/boron nitride composite modified zinc-aluminum hydrotalcite material, stirring for the second time, then adding antirust oil, drying agent, other auxiliary agent and the rest solvent, stirring for the third time, filtering to obtain the product.
