NOVELTY - The emitting cathode has a cathode base plate and a cathode arranged on a surface of the cathode base plate. A graphene layer is arranged on a surface of the cathode. A conductive adhering layer is introduced between the cathode and the graphene layer. The conductive adhering layer is selected from a group consisting of a zinc oxide film, an indium oxide tin doped film, a tin oxide film, a silicon film and a titanium oxide film. The conductive adhering layer is produced using sol-gel process. USE - Graphical graphene field emitting cathode for a field emitting display, a field emitting plane light source, an LCD field emitting backlight source and a vacuum electronic apparatus. ADVANTAGE - The graphene field emitting cathode has large electron emitting current density, simple process, low manufacturing cost and stable and uniform emitting, and realizes graphical preparation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for manufacturing a graphical graphene field emitting cathode.
