NOVELTY - Preparation of oxidized graphene modified filter paper using dip coating method, involves immersing filter paper in a mixed solution of graphene and silane coupling agent, ultrasonically dispersing, taking out and drying at room temperature to obtain oxidized graphene modified filter paper. The mixed solution of the graphene and the silane coupling agent is prepared by adding graphene, silane coupling agent, deionized water and anhydrous ethanol, ultrasonically dispersing at ultrasonic power 200-400 W and at ultrasonic temperature of 25-35 degrees C, and naturally drying for 12-36 hours. USE - Preparation of oxidized graphene modified filter paper for use in rapid separation of oil and water and treatment of oily wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The oxidized graphene modified filter paper is prepared by a simple method at low cost. The prepared filter paper has excellent stability, and excellent separation effect for oil-water mixture. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of oxidized graphene modified filter paper using dip coating method, involves immersing filter paper in a mixed solution of graphene and silane coupling agent, ultrasonically dispersing, taking out and drying at room temperature to obtain oxidized graphene modified filter paper. The filter paper is a existing medium-speed qualitative or quantitative filter paper having an average pore size of 1-50 microns. The mixed solution of the graphene and the silane coupling agent is prepared by adding graphene, silane coupling agent, deionized water and anhydrous ethanol in a ratio of (1-5) g:(0.05-0.5) g:(20-30) mL:(70-80) mL, ultrasonically dispersing at ultrasonic power 200-400 W for 1-3 hours and at ultrasonic temperature of 25-35 degrees C, and then naturally drying for 12-36 hours.
