NOVELTY - Dense-mesh-structure-forming alkaline phenolic aldehyde resin-bonded sand comprises 80-90 pts. wt. bauxite sand, 15-20 pts. wt. light-burned dolomite powder, 4-5 pts. wt. ultrafine aluminum silicate, 0.6-0.8 pt. wt. calcium carbonate crystal whisker, 0.01-0.02 pt. wt. graphene oxide, 0.4-0.5 pt. wt. polypropylene chips, 0.01-0.02 pt. wt. silane coupling agent, 1-1.5 pts. wt. modified phenolic aldehyde resin binder, and 0.3-0.4 pt. wt. curing agent. USE - Dense-mesh-structure-forming alkaline phenolic aldehyde resin-bonded sand is used for pump valve casting. ADVANTAGE - The dense-mesh-structure-forming alkaline phenolic aldehyde resin-bonded sand uses a binder which has low viscosity, brittleness, free phenol content, and free formaldehyde content, and high bonding strength and plasticity, is required in less amount, slows down hardening, and effectively improves the use and reuse performance of sand. The combination of calcium carbonate crystal whisker, graphene oxide, and porous polypropylene fibers improves toughness, reinforcement effect, damping property, and skid resistance, forms a complex network structure to improve bonding strength and plasticity of sand, and enables easy peeling and collapsing. Ultrafine aluminum silicate has excellent suspension and adhesion properties, is capable of forming a network structure between the materials, promotes formation of dense sand, prevents collapsing during casting, and improves surface quality of casting.
