NOVELTY - Antibacterial and mildew-proof synthetic resin comprises 35-45 pts. wt. modified epoxy resin, 10-15 pts. wt. modified nano-silver, 5-10 pts. wt. polyether 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether, and 2-3 pts. wt. antioxidant. USE - Used as antibacterial and mildew-proof synthetic resin. ADVANTAGE - The synthetic resin: is easy to be flammability; increases flame retardance and flexibility; and improves property of crisp. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing antibacterial and mildew-proof synthetic resin comprising (1) reacting phosphorus oxychloride with excess phenol under catalysis of Lewis acid manganese chloride, generating a large amount of hydrochloric acid to open epoxy group in epoxy resin to prepare a pre-modified epoxy resin, (2) introducing two-dimensional sheet of graphene into molecular backbone of pre-modified epoxy resin to obtain modified epoxy resin, (3) coating nano-silver with activated carbon after high-temperature calcination by a sol-gel method to obtain modified nano-silver, and (4) mixing and stirring 35 pts. wt. modified epoxy resin and 10 pts. wt. modified nano silver, after adding 5 pts. wt. polyether 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether to reacting for 2 hours, cooling, and adding 2 pts. wt. antioxidant to obtain antibacterial and mildew-proof synthetic resin.
