NOVELTY - Preparing modified graphene oxide involves mixing graphene oxide, amino-terminated silicone oil, amino-containing silane coupling agent and reaction solvent, reacting at 80-140 degrees C for 6-12 hours to obtain modified graphene oxide, and reaction solvent is benzene, toluene or xylene. USE - Method for preparing modified graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare modified graphene oxide that has good toughness, short curing time, strong adhesion, simple preparation method, high mechanical strength and utilizes the flexibility of the silicone oil main chain, improves the toughness of the epoxy resin binder, reduces the surface energy of graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a modified graphene oxide composite epoxy adhesive, which comprises glue and hardener, glue comprises epoxy resin, epoxy modified silicone oil, modified graphene oxide, mass ratio of epoxy resin, modified graphene oxide and epoxy-modified silicone oil is 1:(0.04-0.1):(0.1-0.2); and (2) a method for preparing modified graphene oxide composite epoxy adhesive, which involves mixing raw materials, adding ratio of the glue and hardener, and mixing conditions are at 30-40 degrees C, stirring and dispersing at speed of 300-500 revolution per minute for 30-90 minutes.
