NOVELTY - Non-asbestos organic (NAO) brake friction material (10), include graphene and functionalized graphenes as brake friction material and a straight or modified phenolic resin as binder, fibers, abrasives, modifier and fillers, to achieve high quality of brake friction products. USE - The material is useful for brake (claimed) of vehicles or industrial machines. ADVANTAGE - The material: is free of graphite and asbestos; is unique that they provide the same level of friction and increased the physical characteristics of a typical NAO; and utilizes graphene that possess the required performance values of graphite containing friction material, but without the use of graphite.
