NOVELTY - Method for preparing a mobile phone shell graphene/polycarbonate composite plastic involves (i) adding graphene to pyrene formic acid and performing ultrasonic dispersion to form a graphene dispersion, (ii) adding aluminum isopropoxide to water, heating and stirring for 10 minutes, adding the graphene dispersion, stirring for 30 minutes, adding nitric acid, stirring to obtain a sol and leaving still for 2 hours, (iii) dripping the sol prepared in the step (ii) into an aqueous emulsion of wax and aqueous ammonia, aging for 2 hours, filtering and taking out, drying in an oven and sintering at a high temperature to prepare hollow graphene/alumina microspheres and (iv) adding the hollow graphene/alumina microspheres into polycarbonate and extruding through a screw. USE - The method is useful for preparing a mobile phone shell graphene/polycarbonate composite plastic. ADVANTAGE - The method improves thermal conductivity of the material, provides larger porosity that helps the material to dissipate heat, enhances the strength of the composite plastic, improves durability of use and can be widely used in mobile phone shell materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the mobile phone shell graphene/polycarbonate composite plastic prepared by the method.
