NOVELTY - Vegetable oil-based nano-lubricating oil additive comprises 10-20 pts. wt. base oil, 1-3 pts. wt. surfactant, 1-3 pts. wt. repairing nanoparticles, 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. ultrafine boron nitride, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. preservative, and 0.3-0.5 pts. wt. bactericide. USE - Used as vegetable oil-based nano-lubricating oil additive. ADVANTAGE - The additive: reduces agglomeration, and mechanical damage; achieves anti-wear and anti-wear effects; and is suitable for the addition and use of various lubricating oils. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the vegetable oil-based nano-lubricating oil additive, comprising (i) uniformly dispersing graphene oxide in the absolute ethanol solution according to the mass-volume ratio of 1-5 g: 50 ml, and adding the cupric chloride solution with a concentration of 1-5% of the mass of the mixed solution into 1 mol/l under continuous stirring, and then addding mixed solution, 0.1-0.5 wt.% 1-octadecene, placing into a high pressure homogenizer and circulating for 5-10 times under the condition of 20-30 MPa, drying the product in a vacuum oven at 50-70°C for 24-48h to obtain repaired nanoparticles, (ii) soaking boron nitride powder in sodium hydroxide solution, heating and boiling, and maintaining boiling for 30-60 minutes, then adding γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane with a mass of 0.1-0.3% of the mixed solution, maintaining stirring for 30-60 minutes and then drying, adding the dried solid powder into the planetary ball mill, where the speed of the ball mill is 200-300 revolutions/minute, and the ball is milled for 24-48 hours to obtain ultrafine boron nitride, (iii) heating the base oil to 80-90℃, adding surfactant, repairing nanoparticles, ultra-fine boron nitride, preservatives, bactericide, stirring at a constant temperature for 12-24 hours, and cooling to obtain vegetable oil-based nano-lubricating oil additive.
