NOVELTY - Nanoparticle composite comprises reduced graphine oxide and core-shell nanoparticles on the reduced graphene oxide. The core shell nanoparticles include a core comprising a transition metal oxide, and a shell comprising a carbonaceous material on the core. USE - Nanoparticle composite used as anode active material for negative electrode for hybrid capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanoparticle composite has increased surface area, excellent electrical conductivity, excellent capacity and speed characteristics and improved electrochemical performance, and realizes excellent power density and capacity characteristics by manufacturing a hybrid capacitor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing nanoparticle composite, which involves: (A) reacting transition metal oxide precursor with surfactant in presence of surfactant by a sol-gel reaction by using water in oil microemulsion reaction to obtain transition metal oxide nanoparticle; (B) dispersing the transition metal oxide nanoparticles coated with the surfactant on the surface of the graphene oxide; and (C) preparing nanocomposite by heat treating graphene oxide having surface-coated transition metal oxide nanoparticles coated with the surfactant in an inert gas atmosphere.
