NOVELTY - The preparation method of iron-based non-noble metal catalyst involves peeling iron-based layered double hydroxide sheet having thickness of less than 10 nm, immersing iron-based layered double hydroxide sheet in water or polar organic solvent to prepare dispersion, mixing graphene oxide dispersion with peeled layered double hydroxide sheet dispersion, leaving reaction mixture for 0.5-60 hours, separating lower layer and washing to obtain iron-based layered double hydroxide and graphene oxide laminated composite material. USE - The method is useful for preparing iron-based non-noble metal catalyst, which is useful for oxygen evolution reaction. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of iron-based non-noble metal catalyst with high conductivity, activity and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of iron-based non-noble metal catalyst involves peeling iron-based layered double hydroxide sheet having thickness of less than 10 nm, immersing iron-based layered double hydroxide sheet in water or polar organic solvent to prepare dispersion, mixing graphene oxide dispersion with peeled layered double hydroxide sheet dispersion, leaving reaction mixture for 0.5-60 hours, separating lower layer, washing to obtain iron-based layered double hydroxide and graphene oxide laminated composite material, performing reduction of iron-based layered double hydroxide and graphene oxide laminated composite material to obtain iron-based layered double hydroxide and graphene catalyst.
