NOVELTY - Preparation of cathode involves providing pre-anode, zinc cathode, electrolyte, and electrochemical cell. The active material of pre-anode is vanadium dioxide. The electrolyte comprises water and soluble zinc salt. The pre-embedding ion treatment involves placing pre-anode, zinc cathode and electrolyte in electrochemical cell, assembling pre-embedded ion cell, treating pre-anode and embedding zinc ion and hydrogen ion in vanadium dioxide crystal structure to obtain vanadium dioxide pre-embedded zinc ion and hydrogen ion. The pre-anode obtained from pre-embedding ion-treatment serves as cathode in zinc ion battery. USE - Preparation of cathode of zinc ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing zinc ion battery cathode with excellent stability and durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of cathode of zinc ion battery, comprising pre-anode, zinc cathode, electrolyte, and electrochemical cell. The active material of pre-anode is vanadium dioxide. The electrolyte comprises water and soluble zinc salt. The pre-embedding ion treatment involves placing pre-anode, zinc cathode and electrolyte in electrochemical cell, assembling pre-embedded ion cell, treating pre-anode and embedding zinc ion and hydrogen ion in vanadium dioxide crystal structure to obtain vanadium dioxide pre-embedded zinc ion and hydrogen ion. The pre-anode obtained from pre-embedding ion-treatment serves as cathode in zinc ion battery. The chemical structural formula of vanadium dioxide of pre-embedded zinc ion and hydrogen ion is (ZnxHyVO2), x is content of pre-embedded zinc ion, x is more than 0 and less than or equal to 0.15, y is content of pre-embedded hydrogen ion, y is more than 0 and less than or equal to 0.8; and (2) zinc ion battery cathode, which comprises current collector and cathode film covered on the current collector. The cathode film contains vanadium dioxide pre-embedded zinc ion and hydrogen ion, electronic conducting agent and binder.
