NOVELTY - Carbon nanocomposites comprises carbon nano materials containing defect regions and nano patch positioned by bonding of carbon nano material, which includes the nano-patch covering the defect area and heals. USE - Used as a carbon nanocomposites. ADVANTAGE - The carbon nanocomposites has excellent dispersibility, excellent barrier properties against gas/water permeation along with dimensional and thermal stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - AN INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing carbon nanocomposite material comprising (a) attaching the nano-patches on the carbon nanomaterials and dispersing carbon nanomaterials and nanopatches on a polymer matrix, (b) the nano-patch is acid hydrolyzed to remove the amorphous region, and (c) coating the carbon nanocomposite material on substrate and drying.
