NOVELTY - Preparation method of catalyst involves (i) mixing a first water-soluble metal salt, a second water-soluble metal salt and water to obtain a mixed bimetallic salt solution, where the first water-soluble metal salt is sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate and magnesium nitrate and the second water-soluble metal salt is nickel nitrate, zinc nitrate and chromium nitrate, (ii) dispersing carbon-based substrate and nano titanium dioxide in water as a catalyst load, ultrasonically stirring to disperse, adding mixed bimetallic salt solution and the mass ratio of metal to catalyst load in the mixed bimetallic salt solution is 0.5-5 wt.% and (iii) placing the mixed bimetallic salt solution under xenon light source for irradiation, stirring for 3-6 hours under a current of 10-20 A, freezing the mixed bimetallic salt solution into solid and vacuum freeze-drying the solid at vacuum degree of 0.001-0.01 MPa and temperature of -60℃ to -50℃. USE - The method is used for preparing a catalyst for synthesis of N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)methylamine. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst prepared simplifies the facilities and operation of the synthesis and production process of N,N bis(3 aminopropyl)methylamine and has high activity and excellent selectivity. The catalyst preparation method has wide raw materials source, simple operation and reduces cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: the catalyst for synthesis of N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)methylamine obtained based on the preparation method; and a use method of the catalyst for preparing N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)methylamine involving adding composite bimetallic single atom catalyst and raw material acrylonitrile and methylamine into an autoclave, in a mass ratio of 1-5 wt.%, using nitrogen to replace the inner cavity of the autoclave, stirring and reacting at 80-100℃ under a reaction pressure of 0.5-2 MPa for 1.5-2.5 hours, introducing hydrogen, maintaining the pressure at 1.5-3 MPa, stirring and reacting at 130-160℃ for 1.5-2.5 hours, opening the autoclave, adding a solvent to dissolve the reaction product and filtering to obtain the product N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)methylamine.
