NOVELTY - A graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel-coated stirring rod comprises glass capillary tube (2), iron core (1), and extracted coating (3) in which iron core both ends are placed inside of sealed glass capillary tube, extracted coating is applied on glass capillary tube outside surface, and extracted coating is graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel-coating. USE - A graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel-coated stirring rod for extraction analysis of polar organic compound (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Process is environment-friendly, and product has simple structure and good mechanical stability, thermal stability, and chemical stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel-coated stirring rod which involves activating iron core and frittable glass capillary tube both ends into sodium hydroxide solution, washing, drying, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide powder with N,N-dimethylformamide to obtain graphene oxide dispersion solution, dissolving polyethylene glycol with dichloromethane to obtain polyethylene glycol solution, ultrasonically mixing graphene oxide dispersion solution and polyethylene glycol solution to obtain graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite dispersion solution, uniformly mixing with hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, tetraethoxysilane, gamma -(2,3-propylene oxide)trimethoxysilane, hydrogen-containing silicone oil, and trifluoroacetic acid, ultrasonically treating to obtain graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel, immersing activated glass stirring rod into obtained graphene oxide/polyethylene glycol composite sol-gel, and aging into oven.
