NOVELTY - Preparation of copper selenide/graphite composite material involves adding a copper source to a complex material, stirring, mixing with mixed solution containing selenium source and an alkaline regulator, heating, reacting with hydrazine hydrate, cooling, centrifuging, separating, drying to obtain copper selenide powder, placing the powder in a cationic polyelectrolyte, ultrasonically dispersing, filtering, adding aqueous solution of graphene oxide containing oxidized graphene dispersed in water, ultrasonically dispersing, heating, cooling, centrifuging, separating and drying. USE - Preparation of copper selenide/graphite composite material used as thermoelectric material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, economical and energy-saving preparation of copper selenide/graphite composite material having high electrical conductivity, within short period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of copper selenide/graphite composite material involves dispersing an oxidized graphene in water to obtain an oxidized graphene solution, adding a copper source to a complex material, stirring to obtain a mixed solution (I), adding selenium source to an alkaline regulator, stirring uniformly to obtain a mixed solution (II), mixing the mixed solution (I) and (II), heating to 90-110 degrees C, dripping hydrazine hydrate, reacting for 4-10 hours, cooling, subjecting to centrifugal separation and drying to obtain copper selenide powder, placing the copper selenide powder in a cationic polyelectrolyte, ultrasonically dispersing for 20-60 minutes, filtering to obtain a charged copper selenide powder, adding aqueous solution of graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing, heating to 20-60 degrees C, dripping hydrazine hydrate, heat-preserving for 20-60 minutes, cooling, subjecting to centrifugal separation and drying. The copper selenide powder is of formula Cu2-xSe, where x is 0-0.1.
