NOVELTY - Method for preparing a graphene oxide-modified medical absorbent cotton, involves (a) sequentially adding a cotton fiber solution and a large-sheet graphene oxide solution to a container, ultrasonically processing, and uniformly stirring and mixing, (b) after stirring, adding a medium-sheet graphene oxide sheet aqueous solution, and continuously stirring and mixing uniformly, (c) dripping a Tris solution into the container to adjust the pH of the reaction system solution to alkaline, then adding a crosslinking agent and a dispersant to the reaction system solution, and uniformly stirring and mixing, (d) freeze-drying the obtained solution, and (e) sterilizing the obtained graphene oxide absorbent cotton under sterile conditions, and packaging to obtain the finished product. USE - The method is useful for preparing a graphene oxide-modified medical absorbent cotton (claimed), which is useful in the surgical hemostasis field. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide modified absorbent cotton has a loose and porous structure, so it has excellent water absorption and hemostasis effects and mechanical strength, does not increase the infection probability, does not affect tissue healing, and is cheap.
