NOVELTY - Preparing sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane for aqueous alcohol separation, involves preparing graphene oxide-sodium lignin sulfonate dispersion mixing 0.03 g/mL graphene oxide solution and the sodium lignin sulfonate solution, ultrasonically mixing uniformly, adding small amount of vitamin C. The mixture of graphene oxide-sodium lignin sulfonate is reacted at 95 degrees C for a certain period of time under vigorous stirring, and reaction is finished, cooling to room temperature, ultrasonication, dispersing to obtain a uniform dispersion of graphene oxide-sodium lignin sulfonate. The membrane-forming liquid is configured by dissolving sodium alginate in water and stirring at a constant temperature to completely dissolve 0.03 g/mL sodium alginate. The film forming solution is then added to the reduced graphene oxide-sodium lignin sulfonate dispersion, and dispersion to the sodium alginate are mixed in volume ratio of 1:10. The mixture is uniformly dispersed by stirring and ultrasonication. USE - Method for preparing sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane for aqueous alcohol separation. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane which improves alcohol water mixed liquid separating performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane for aqueous alcohol separation, involves preparing graphene oxide-sodium lignin sulfonate dispersion mixing 0.03 g/mL graphene oxide solution and the sodium lignin sulfonate solution, ultrasonically mixing uniformly, adding small amount of vitamin C. The mixture is uniformly dispersed by stirring and ultrasonication, and allowed to stand off. The bubble is obtained as a film forming liquid, settled film forming liquid is uniformly poured on a dry, clean and smooth ultrafiltration base film, and a wet film of a certain thickness is scraped with a doctor blade and dried at room temperature. Then, the dried film is placed in 0.5 mol/L chlorination. The mixture was crosslinked in a calcium solution for 10 minutes. The membrane is washed with water and thoroughly dried at room temperature to obtain a pervaporation membrane.
