NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises supplying a raw material gas containing a carbon-containing compound to silicon oxide (SiOx) nanowires placed in a chemical vapor deposition reaction chamber, and growing graphene on a surface of the nanowires. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene including a single layer graphene, two layer graphene or multi layer graphene, in the form of high density multilayered flake (all claimed), where the graphene is useful in an electrode of a lithium ion battery and in a biosensor. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of preparing graphene with high quality.
