NOVELTY - Metal-doped shell shaped carbon particles having improved chemical characteristics as compared with conventional carbon particles, and a preparing process of the metal-doped shell shaped carbon particles are provided. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Metal-doped shell shaped carbon particles are characterized in that the carbon particles comprise several layers in which planar and curved graphene sheets are connected to one another, and inner centers of the carbon particles are hollow. The metal is a transition metal, a precious metal, an alkali metal or a combination thereof. The carbon particles have an average particle diameter of 1 nm to 500 microns. A preparing process of metal-doped shell shaped carbon particles comprises the steps of: (a) supplying a hydrocarbon gas comprising a metal-containing precursor material into a burner to ignite a flame of the hydrocarbon gas; and (b) irradiating a laser onto the ignited flame.Image 1/1
