NOVELTY - Lightweight and porous rubber material comprises 20-30 pts. wt. butyl rubber, 50-80 pts. wt. dichloromethane, 3-5 pts. wt. flame retardant filler, and 8-10 pts. wt. pore-forming agent. The rubber material is made of (a1) adding nitrile rubber and dichloromethane into a stirred tank, stirring for 15-30 minutes at a speed of 500-800 rpm, adding flame retardant fillers and pore-forming agent, ultrasonically treating at a frequency of 3-5 MHz for 10-15 minutes to obtain a composite glue, (a2) leaving still the composite glue for 1-2 hours, defoaming for 10-15 minutes under the condition of a vacuum degree of 0.2-0.5 MPa to prepare a defoaming liquid, and (a3) adding the defoaming liquid into the mold, leaving still for 20-30 minutes at 40-60 degrees C, heating at 110-130 degrees C and curing for 15-20 minutes to obtain the product. USE - Lightweight and porous rubber material. ADVANTAGE - The material prevents combustion, reduces smoke and dust generation, and avoids environmental pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the material involving (a) adding nitrile rubber and dichloromethane to a stirred tank, stirring for 15-30 minutes at a speed of 500-800 rpm, adding flame retardant fillers and pore-forming agent and ultrasonically treating at a frequency of 3-5 MHz for 10-15 minutes to obtain a composite glue, (b) leaving still the composite glue for 1-2 hours and defoaming for 10-15 minutes under a vacuum degree of 0.2-0.5 MPa to obtain a defoaming liquid, and (c) adding the defoaming liquid into the mold, leaving still for 20-30 minutes at 40-60 degrees C, heating at 110-130 degrees C and curing for 15-20 minutes to obtain the product.
