NOVELTY - Graphene self-lubricating gradient ceramic tool material comprises multiple layers, and the raw material components and thicknesses of each layer are symmetrically distributed. The center layer is a symmetrical plane in the thickness direction, and the volume content of the nano-zirconium oxide is gradually reduced from the surface layer to the middle layer. USE - The material is useful in the fields of mechanical, metallurgy, mining, high-speed trains, wind power, automobiles, tractors, bearings, water pumps, transportation, energy, precision instruments or aerospace (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical and is environmentally friendly. The material has compressive stress. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the tool material, comprising dispersing graphene and at least two kinds of nano- zirconium oxide with different volume fractions in an alcohol solution to obtain a graphene/nano- zirconium oxide mixed solution containing different zirconium oxide volume fractions and uniformly dispersed, adding graphene/nano zirconium oxide mixed solution containing different zirconium oxide to a mixed powder of alumina, titanium carbonitride, sintering aid and stabilizer, ball milling, drying, and sieving to obtain at least 2 kinds of nano mixed raw material powder of zirconium oxide according to the volume content of nano-zirconia from high to low, and from low to high, filling in the mold layer by layer and pre-pressing, sintering the mold in a vacuum, the heat preservation, and cooling the mold.
