NOVELTY - A heterocyclic azobenzene/graphene thermal storage material is obtained by covalently grafting 30-80C heterocyclic azobenzene compound (I) to a surface of graphene. USE - Heterocyclic azobenzene/graphene thermal storage material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The heterocyclic azobenzene/graphene thermal storage material is manufactured efficiently with high quality and excellent thermal storage density of 120 Wh/kg, isomerization rate of 93% or less, storage density of 120 Wh/kg or less, and improved energy value and half-life value. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A heterocyclic azobenzene/graphene thermal storage material is obtained by covalently grafting 30-80C heterocyclic azobenzene compound of formula (I) to a surface of graphene. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of thermal storage material, which involves dissolving 10-30 mmol 2-aminopyrrole and sodium nitrite in deionized water, adding 1-2 equivalents aniline, reacting in argon atmosphere to obtain heterocyclic azobenzene, mixing graphene oxide solution and 20-30 %mass sodium carbonate, adjusting pH to 7-9, adding 10-20 mg/ml sodium borohydride solution, reacting at 75-90 degrees C for 6-8 hours, washing, centrifuging, filtering, washing with distilled water to obtain modified graphene oxide, mixing 20-30 mg modified graphene oxide, 0.3-0.9 mg/mL N-methylpyrrolidone and 0.2-0.6 mmol heterocyclic azobenzene, reacting under nitrogen atmosphere at 120-140 degrees C for 7-8 hours, vacuum filtration, and washing with acetone.
