NOVELTY - An asymmetric supercapacitor comprises an anode material formed by electrochemically depositing nickel, cobalt and sulfur on a graphene foam, and obtaining nickel-cobalt-sulfur/graphene foam as anode material, and a cathode material comprising graphene gel. USE - Asymmetric supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The asymmetric supercapacitor has high electrochemical capacitance performance, energy storage performance, capacity density and power density, and excellent cycle stability, and can be prepared by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of asymmetric supercapacitor, which involves using anode material, cathode material, and a potassium hydroxide solution.
