NOVELTY - Fabricating light weight, ecofriendly, flexible and transparent white wood graphene-radiation protection shield involves carrying out delignification of Indian Rose wood veneers using hydrogen peroxide solution with heating to form delignified wood, preparing a composite comprising of mixing polyvinyl alcohol, gelatin, barium-boron nitride, coating composite onto the delignified wood to form a radiation shield material, fabricating white wood graphene-radiation protection shield by constructing the radiation shield material into predetermined dimension along with a glass window of square shape and finally attaching trolley at bottom of the shield for easy move of the radiation protection shield. USE - Method for fabricating light weight, ecofriendly, flexible and transparent white wood graphene-radiation protection shield used during radiographic procedures, orthopedic and spinal surgery. ADVANTAGE - The white wood graphene-radiation protection shield is light weight, eco-friendly, flexible and transparent, and minimizes the radiation exposure towards the operators, surgeon and operative staff.
