NOVELTY - Polymer/graphene oxide composite microcapsules for encapsulation of phase-change energy storage materials, has a double-layer spherical shell structure, the outer spherical shell is terpineol modified graphene oxide, the inner spherical shell is a polymer, and the core is a phase change material. USE - Polymer/graphene oxide composite microcapsules for encapsulation of phase-change energy storage materials (Claimed). ADVANTAGE - Phase-change material is encapsulated in the prepared microcapsule, the inner spherical shell is a polymer, the outer spherical shell is a modified graphene oxide particle layer, and the double-layer spherical shell structure obviously enhance the barrier property and the thermal stability of the microcapsule and used as a potential candidate material for encapsulating gas-sensitive or moisture-sensitive substances, particularly volatile substances needing to be stored for a long time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing composite microcapsules, which involves: i. preparing graphene oxide aqueous dispersion with a concentration of 0.5-2 milligram per liter, ultrasonically treating it for 10-30 minutes, adding terpineol, controlling the mass ratio of graphene oxide to terpineol to be 1:0.06-3.0, adjusting pH less than 7, reacting at 60-90 °C for 20-80 minutes to obtain terpineol-modified graphene oxide nanoparticles; ii. adjusting pH value of the terpineol-modified graphene oxide nanoparticle aqueous suspension, adding a monomer with a mass of 10-100 times the mass of graphene oxide, adding a phase change material with a mass of 10-100 times the mass of graphene oxide, and then adding the mass of the monomer 1-2 % initiator, ultrasonic for 5-15 minutes, oil phase/water, pickering emulsion is obtained, and carrying out the reaction at 50-95 °C for 4-24 hours. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a digital photograph and an optical microscope photograph of the emulsion
