NOVELTY - Preparing high performance graphene reinforced aluminum matrix composites material comprises e.g. preparing graphene oxide, subjecting aluminum powder to surface modification, grinding aluminum powder, milling to obtain flaky aluminum powder, mixing graphene and aluminum powder and dissolving in an alcohol solution to obtain mixed solution and then ultrasonic treatment and then washing and drying to obtain graphene/aluminum hydroxide/aluminum multilayer coating powder and then introducing into hot pressing sintering mold, hot-pressing sintering and cooling. USE - The method is useful for preparing high performance graphene reinforced aluminum matrix composites material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing high performance graphene reinforced aluminum matrix composites material comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide, (ii) subjecting the aluminum powder to surface modification, grinding the aluminum powder, first milling at a low speed of 150-200 revolutions per minute for 0.5-1 hours, then milling at high-speed of 350-400 revolutions per minute for 2-4 hours to obtain flaky aluminum powder, where the thickness of the flaky aluminum powder is less than 2 mu m, (iii) mixing graphene and the aluminum powder and dissolving in an alcohol solution to obtain mixed solution and then ultrasonic treatment for 0.1-1 hours, temperature at 30-50oC and then washing and drying to obtain graphene/aluminum hydroxide/aluminum multilayer coating powder, where the mass ratio between graphene and the aluminum powder is 0.3-1.5:99.7-99, the mass ratio of the quality of the graphene and the aluminum powder to the alcohol solution is 50:200 g/ml, the volume ratio between water and alcohol in the alcohol solution is 1:4-4:1, and (iv) introducing graphene/aluminum hydroxide/aluminum multilayer coating powder into hot pressing sintering mold, loading pressure is 100-200 MPa, then hot-pressing and sintering under the protection of argon gas or nitrogen, then cooling to obtain final product, where the hot pressing sintering is carrying out in two steps, the first step treatment temperature is 190-210 degrees C, hot pressing sintering is 30 minutes, the second step treatment temperature is 580 degrees C, hot pressing sintering for 2-3 hours, the pressure is 100-200 MPa.
