NOVELTY - The method for producing graphene oxide, involves mixing concentrated sulfuric solution and phosphoric acid to obtain mixed acid solution, adding graphite, stirring, adding potassium permanganate, stirring, dripping hydrogen peroxide to obtain oxidized graphite mixture liquid, adding dilute hydrochloric acid solution to oxidized graphite mixture liquid to obtain graphite oxide mixed solution, washing with deionized water, ethanol and deionized water, centrifuging to obtain solid and vacuum freeze-drying to obtain final product. USE - Method for producing graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables production of graphene oxide with oxidizing and stripping effect, and effectively avoids the emission of toxic gas. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for producing graphene oxide, involves mixing 98.0-98.3 %mass concentrated sulfuric solution and 80-85 %mass phosphoric acid in volume ratio of 9.5:0.5-8.5:1.5 to obtain mixed acid solution, adding graphite to obtained mixed acid solution, stirring and continuously mixing, adding potassium permanganate, stirring for 10-30 minutes, maintaining the temperature system at 40-45 degrees C, stirring for 1.5-2 hours, heating at 90-95 degrees C, continuously stirring for 1-1.5 hours, dripping hydrogen peroxide to obtain oxidized graphite mixture liquid, adding 1-2 mol/L concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid solution to oxidized graphite mixture liquid to obtain graphite oxide mixed solution, washing the resulting solid with deionized water, centrifuging, washing with ethanol, centrifuging, washing with deionized water, centrifuging to obtain solid and vacuum freeze-drying to obtain final product. The weight ratio of graphite and potassium permanganate is 1:4-1:7.
