NOVELTY - A plate-shaped material exfoliating apparatus consists of an inlet (10) for supplying the plate-shaped material, a high-pressure pump provided at a front end of the inflow portion, a microchannel (12) provided at a rear end of the inflow portion, and an outlet (13) provided at a rear end (12-1,12-2) of the microchannel. The distance (y) (m) between the rear end of the microchannel and the outflow wall surface, and the velocity (X) (m/second) of plate-shaped material satisfies a specific relation (I). USE - Plate-shaped material exfoliating apparatus is used for manufacturing graphene (claimed) for forming transparent electrode for semiconductor device. ADVANTAGE - The plate-shaped material exfoliating apparatus enables efficient manufacture of graphene with increased discharge flow rate of graphene dispersion liquid, by economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A plate-shaped material exfoliating apparatus consists of an inlet for supplying the plate-shaped material, a high-pressure pump provided at a front end of the inflow portion for generating a pressure and pressurizing the plate-shaped material, a microchannel provided at a rear end of the inflow portion for homogenizing the plate-like material with a pressure generated by the high-pressure pump, and an outlet provided at a rear end of the microchannel. The distance (y) (m) between the rear end of the microchannel and the outflow wall surface in which the plate-shaped material flowing out from the rear end of the microchannel overlaps, and the velocity (X) (m/second) of plate-shaped material satisfies the relation: y more than (2.7x 10-5)X-(4.2x 10-5) (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphene, which involves feeding a solution containing graphite to the inlet, applying a pressure to the inlet using high-pressure pump for passing the solution containing the graphite through microchannel, and recovering the graphene dispersion.
