NOVELTY - Preparing uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block comprises (i) dissolving polyacrylonitrile by solvent, adding uranium dioxide powder, uniformly mixing to obtain intermediate, (ii) removing solvent from the evaporation intermediate, (iii) placing the uranium dioxide-polyacrylonitrile mixed powder into the mold cold pressing forming, demolding to obtain the fuel core block blank, and (iv) sintering the fuel core block blank under the reducing atmosphere to obtain uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block. USE - Preparation of uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block used for nuclear reactor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of uranium dioxide-graphene composite fuel core block with high thermal conductivity, and improves the economic efficiency and safety of nuclear reactor operation.
