NOVELTY - The diaphragm (10) has a graphene-containing layer including graphene nanoparticles with an average particle size of 10 nanometer or less. The graphene nanoparticles include a functional group selected from a group consisting of hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, carbonyl group, epoxy group, amine group and amide group. The graphene-containing layer includes a different material other than grapheme, where the different material selected from a group consisting of polymer, single molecule, metal, metal complex, organic material, inorganic material and organic-inorganic composite material. The graphene-containing layer is arranged on a surface of an auxiliary layer. The auxiliary layer is selected from a group consisting of cellulose, polymer-based material, metal-based material, carbon-based material, paper, polyester, aluminum, titanium, beryllium, carbon fiber and CVD synthetic diamond. USE - Diaphragm for an acoustic device e.g. electromagnetic-type device, electrostatic-type device and piezoelectric-type device such as speaker, earphone, headphone and microphone, for an electronic apparatus (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to an image/display device, laptop computer, tablet PC and a mobile phone. ADVANTAGE - The graphene nanoparticles allow a diaphragm having excellent performance to be easily manufactured. The graphene nanoparticles stably produce good sound quality at high frequencies and have excellent durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an acoustic device.
