▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An elastomeric composition comprises graphite nanoparticles (preferably graphene nanoparticles) (0.1-20 pts. wt./100 pts. wt., phr), elastomer component(s) comprising random copolymer having 4-7C isomonoolefin derived unit(s) (1-99 wt.%), and filler(s) that is not graphite (10-200 phr). USE - Elastomeric composition for use in manufacturing articles such as innerliner for tire (claimed), tire, tire parts (such as sidewall, tread, tread cap, innertube, apex, chafer, wirecoat and ply coat), tubes, and pipes. ADVANTAGE - The elastomeric composition has excellent air retention properties and excellent processability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of elastomeric composition by mixing graphite nanoparticles into elastomer component(s) and filler(s) at a certain rate to disperse nanoparticles within the elastomer; and (2) manufacture of article by heating expandable graphite to obtain nanoparticles, mixing graphene nanoparticle(s) with filler and elastomer component comprising random isobutylene copolymer at a certain rate to disperse nanoparticles within the elastomer, and forming the mixture into an article, in which the graphite does not further expand if the article is exposed to 0-1000 degrees C.
