NOVELTY - A composite phase change material with high thermal conductivity and high strength is prepared by melting the phase change substrate material at 70-90°C, adding a thermal conductivity enhancer, uniformly stirring and mixing at 70-100°C, and injecting into metal foam skeleton for curing. The amount of thermal conduction enhancer expanded graphite added is 1-4 wt.% of the total mass. USE - Composite phase change material with high thermal conductivity and high strength used for battery holder in battery thermal management device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite phase change material improves heat conductivity, mass retention rate and mechanical property, realizes lightweight and compactness of battery module, improves shock resistance, impact resistance, efficiency and service life of battery module and avoids thermal runaway caused by continuous heat accumulation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a battery thermal management device, which comprises batteries, the battery holder, electrodes and a packaging shell. The electrodes comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode are welded with nickel sheets or copper wires, and the battery and the battery holder are packaged with the packaging shell.
