NOVELTY - Preparation of nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dot-iron ion composite nano-enzyme, involves hydrothermally reacting amino pyrene aqueous solution to obtain nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots, adding iron ion solution to the quantum dot solution, and stirring. USE - Preparation of nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dot-iron ion composite nano-enzyme useful as quasi-peroxidase for preparing kit used for detecting hydroquinone (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of nano-enzyme, which has high peroxidase activity, and enables selective colorimetric detection of hydroquinone.
