NOVELTY - An organic solvent-dispersed graphene material (I) is prepared by treating by reducing graphene oxide (GO), dispersing reduced graphene oxide in the presence of phase transfer catalyst, and reacting with alkylating agent. USE - Method for preparing organic solvent-dispersed graphene material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An organic solvent-dispersed graphene material (GO-R) is prepared by treating by reducing graphene oxide (GO), dispersing reduced graphene oxide in the presence of phase transfer catalyst, and reacting with alkylating agent. R=optionally substituted 1-30C alkyl, optionally substituted 6-20C aryl, optionally substituted 1-20C heteroaryl, or halo, where substituents are halo, 1-10C alkyl, cyano, hydroxy, nitro, 3-10C cycloalkyl, 1-10C alkoxy, or amino.
