NOVELTY - A graphene-epoxy composite material comprises graphene/inorganic powder particle hybrid material uniformly dispersed as filler in an epoxy resin matrix. USE - Graphene epoxy composite material is used for electric vehicle drive module. ADVANTAGE - The graphene epoxy composite material has excellent thermal conductivity, adhesiveness, weather resistance, and high-temperature resistance, and low thermal expansion coefficient. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphene/inorganic powder particle hybrid material, which involves dissolving graphene oxide powder in deionized water to form graphene oxide suspension, adding 0.5-1.8 %mass silane coupling agent solution, latent curing agent and reactive diluent, reacting at 50-120 degrees C in water bath for 12-48 hours, separating by vacuum filtration to obtain surface-modified graphene oxide, mixing the surface-modified graphene oxide and inorganic powder particles in 1,4-dioxane, ultrasonically treating under nitrogen atmosphere for 2-10 hours, adding polyacrylic acid chloride, magnetically stirring at 30-100 degrees C for 20-60 hours, filtering with N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, and drying. The silane coupling agent is chosen from KH-550 (RTM: 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane), KH560 (RTM: 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane), KH570 (RTM: 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane), KH792 (RTM: :(3-(2-aminoethyl)aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane), DL602 (RTM: N-( beta -aminoethyl)- gamma -aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane), DL171 (RTM: N-( beta -aminoethyl)- gamma -aminopropylmethyl-dimethoxysilane), UP561 (RTM: organosilicone compound), UP562 (RTM: organosilicone compound), UP563 (RTM: silane coupling agent), and UP564 (RTM: silane coupling agent).
