NOVELTY - Graphene-modified polyamide-6 masterbatch material comprises polyamide-6 polymer chain(s) grown on graphene layer. USE - Graphene-modified polyamide-6 masterbatch material used for preparation of modified polyamide-6 fiber useful for clothes, home textile or carpet (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-modified polyamide-6 masterbatch material solves the problem of graphene dispersion, achieves uniform dispersion of polyamide-6 material and graphene, has good spinning property and improved far-infrared performance and bacteriostasis performance of polyamide-6 material by the introduction and uniform distribution of graphene, and is not easy to break. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of graphene-modified polyamide-6 masterbatch material comprising subjecting caprolactam hydrolysis liquid to ring opening process and/or polymerization process, and adding functionalized graphene having a particle size of less than 10 mu m, where the number of layers of functionalized graphene sheet is not greater than 20, the functionalized graphene is obtained by functionalizing raw material graphene, which is prepared using graphite, carbon-containing gas, biomass resources as raw materials, the functionalized graphene is added at 0.5-10 wt.% based on 100 wt.% caprolactam, and the concentration of functionalized graphene in hydrolysis liquid is 0.5-3 wt.%; (2) modified polyamide-6 fiber comprising polyamide-6 polymer chain(s) grown on graphene layer by chemical bond including ester bond, amide bond, hydroxy bond, carboxy bond and/or ether bond; and (3) preparation of modified polyamide-6 fiber comprising using graphene-modified polyamide-6 masterbatch material as raw material and spinning.
