NOVELTY - Preparing cobalt element-graphene intercalation compound electrochemically by one-step method involves preparing electrolyte by adding sodium hexanitrocobaltate, weak acid and anionic surfactant into deionized water. One or more pairs of graphite sheets connected to DC power supply are immersed in electrolyte relatively vertically, and DC power supply is used for constant current stripping for 2-4 hours. The ice bath is added during stripping, and ice bath time is not less than one-third of stripping time. The reacted suspension is vacuum filtered and washed with deionized water. The washed product is dispersed in water bath in dimethylformamide (DMF) and sonicated, after sonication, is left to stand, centrifuged with centrifuge, and lower layer of product is taken out and freeze-dried to obtain cobalt-elemental substance-Graphene intercalation compounds. USE - Method for preparing cobalt element-graphene intercalation compound electrochemically by one-step method. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to have mild stripping condition, low device requirement, low energy consumption, simple operation, short stripping time and meets the green chemical synthesis route.
