NOVELTY - The sensor has a compressed micro-wrinkle layer coated on an elastic fiber, and a compressed temperature sensitive layer coated over an entire surface of a compressed fine-corrugated layer. Corrugations of the compressed fine wrinkle layer are perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the elastic fiber. A compressed temperature-sensitive layer comprises a conductive polymer layer, where carbon particles are dispersed on the polymer layer. A water-resistant protective layer is coated on the temperature sensitive layer, where the carbon particles include graphene or carbon nano-tubes. USE - Fiber-type temperature sensor for use in various fields. Uses included but or not limited to smart clothing, smart glove, skin/organ-attachment device, and fiber of artificial organ, human health management field and clinical information collection field. ADVANTAGE - The sensor has excellent mechanical strain-insensitivity and high durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for manufacturing a fiber-type temperature sensor.
