NOVELTY - Skin-core type two-component antistatic and anti-ultraviolet fiber includes skin layer and core layer, where skin layer is polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) polymer, core layer is polyethylene tetraphthalate (PET) polymer, and mass ratio of skin layer to core layer is 1:1-5. The PBT polymer is polymer of PBT polyester and conductive functional powder; PET polymer is polymer of PET polyester and anti-ultraviolet auxiliary agent. USE - Skin-core type two-component antistatic and anti-ultraviolet fiber. ADVANTAGE - The skin-core two-component antistatic and anti-ultraviolet fiber is ultra-fine fiber, has light color, permanent antistatic and anti-ultraviolet function, and mechanical performance reaches level of ordinary fiber, where standards, fully meet requirements of various weaving, cost is equivalent to antistatic and anti-ultraviolet finishing, reduces pollution and raw material costs, and expands export of textiles and increases added value of textiles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing skin-core two-component antistatic, and anti-ultraviolet fiber, which involves: (A) melting conductive functional powder, and PBT polyester, and co-extruded to prepare PBT functional slices through twin-screw melting at 225-270 degrees C, and screw speed is 100-500 rotation/minute; (B) preparing PET functional slices by in-situ polymerization, and pelletizing of anti-ultraviolet additives, and PET polyester, where polymerization temperature, which is 270-290 degrees C; (C) providing PBT functional slices as skin layer, and PET functional slices as core layer; and (D) adding skin layer, and core layer to twin-screw compound spinning machine at mass ratio of 1:1-5 to prepare skin core type two-component antistatic, and anti-ultraviolet fiber.
