NOVELTY - An oxygen reduction catalyst comprises three-layer structure of core-shell structure. The core is alloy particles of iron, cobalt, and nickel metal. The middle layer is carbon cladding layer. The outer layer is made of graphene nanosheets. The nanoparticles are wrapped in middle and outer layers. USE - Oxygen reduction catalyst used for air electrode in metal air battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The oxygen reduction catalyst has excellent oxygen reduction catalytic performance and high stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of oxygen reduction catalyst; and (2) usage of oxygen reduction catalyst for air electrode in metal air battery.
