NOVELTY - Preparing bacterial cellulose composite fiber comprises (i) soaking grown bacterial cellulose membrane with an alkaline solution at room temperature, and washing with deionized water until neutral, (ii) cutting the pretreated bacterial cellulose membrane into small pieces, crushing into slurry, and freeze-drying, (iii) adding freeze-dried bacterial cellulose into the calcium chloride/acid dissolving system to form a bacterial cellulose solution, and extruding the bacterial cellulose solution and the second phase solution into a coagulation bath through a spinneret for molding to obtain primary composite fiber, and (iv) heat-stretching the primary composite fibers in a water bath to obtain bacterial cellulose composite fiber, where the spinneret includes a spinneret main pipe, and the feed end of the spinneret main pipe is provided with two feed branch pipes, the inner wall of the spinneret main pipe is provided with a spiral protrusion surrounding the axis along the axial length. USE - The method is useful for preparing bacterial cellulose composite fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical, and easy to produce on a large scale. The bacterial cellulose composite fiber has excellent mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a bacterial cellulose composite fiber prepared by the above method.
