NOVELTY - A metal cutting fluid comprises 55-75 pts. wt. vegetable oil, 8-16 pts. wt. graphene powder, 3-7 pts. wt. corrosion inhibitor, 11-19 pts. wt. lubricant, 4-9 pts. wt. dispersant, 22-37 pts. wt. self-emulsifying ester, 7-13 pts. wt. surfactant and the balance water. The self-emulsifying ester contained in the metal cutting fluid is a bilobanone ester. USE - The metal cutting fluid is used for cutting, lubricating and cooling alloys. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally safe metal cutting fluid has excellent lubricity, corrosion inhibition and hard water usability. The metal cutting fluid prolongs the service life of cutter, improves shape of chips, reduces the cutting temperature, and improves the surface quality of a workpiece. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of metal cutting fluid. The method involves: 1) preparing a vegetable oil-based graphene fluid by adding graphene powder into vegetable oil based on preset proportion, magnetically stirring for 30-50 minutes with speed 300-500 rotations/minute, followed by performing ultrasonic treatment for 10-30 minutes at vibration frequency 30-50 kHz and power 100-150 Watts; 2) adding water and a corrosion inhibitor into a reaction kettle, completely stirring for 0.5-1 hour at 40-45degrees Celsius until the solution is stable, uniform and transparent integrally, followed by sequentially adding vegetable oil-based graphene fluid, lubricant, self-emulsifying ester, surfactant and dispersant, and fully stirring for 1-2 hours at 40-45degrees Celsius.
