NOVELTY - A graphene loaded beta -nucleating agent is prepared by adding natural crystalline flake graphite and potassium permanganate to strong oxidizing acid, heating, centrifuging, filtering, freeze-drying the filter cake, dissolving the filter cake in a solvent to obtain a solution having a concentration, adding octadecylamine, stirring, reflux heating, drying to obtain grafted modified graphite, dissolving in a solvent, adding beta -nucleating agent solution, stirring, and heating. USE - Method of preparing a graphene loaded beta -nucleating agent for expanding polypropylene. ADVANTAGE - The method has high yield, and prepares product having high toughening enhancing effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene loaded beta -nucleating agent is prepared by adding (g) natural crystalline flake graphite (1-5) and potassium permanganate (6-30) to strong oxidizing acid (100-500 ml), heating at 30-50 degrees C for 12-20 hours, centrifuging, filtering, freeze-drying the filter cake, dissolving the filter cake (0.2-0.5) in a solvent A to obtain a solution having a concentration of 1-2 mg/ml, adding octadecylamine (0.3-09 g), stirring at 20-50 degrees C for 5-10 hours, reflux heating at 60-90 degrees C for 10-20 hours, drying to obtain grafted modified graphite, dissolving in a solvent B to obtain a solution having a concentration of 1-2 mg/ml, adding beta -nucleating agent solution (0.5 g) having a concentration of 1-2 mg/ml, stirring, and heating at 60-80 degrees C for 10-20 hours.
