NOVELTY - Preparation of monolayer graphene oxide involves mixing graphite and acid, stirring, reacting at -10 to 20 degrees C for 5 minutes to 1 hour, adding ferrate oxidizing agent and stabilizer, reacting at -10 to 80 degrees C for 0.5-24 hours, stripping, centrifuging, discharging acid, adding remainder product to deionized water, precipitating, washing precipitate using dilute hydrochloric acid and deionized water and centrifuging. USE - Preparation of monolayer graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and environmentally-friendly preparation of monolayer graphene oxide with reduced energy consumption, without using heavy metal.
